A special meeting of the Ionia Township Board will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 1:30 pm at the Ionia Township Hall, 1042 East Washington Street, Ionia MI 48846.

The purpose of this meeting is to consult with the Township’s legal counsel regarding pending litigation with the City of Ionia and to consider whether to consult with the Township’s legal counsel in closed session per the Open Meetings Act. 

This notice is posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, (MCL 41.72a(2)(3)) and the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Regular Board Meetings are now held at 6:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month at the Ionia Township Hall, 1042 East Washington Street, Ionia MI 48846.

Ionia Township residents are eligible for two free vouchers per year to Pitsch’s Landfill. Please call a board member to set up a time to pick up at the Township Hall. Please bring your ID.
