Ionia Township Regular Board Meeting Minutes
February 11, 2025
Meeting called to order by Supervisor, Jamie Stephens
Members present: Stephens, Lynn, Harp Pitchford, McCoy
Motion by Harp and supported by Pitchford to pay bills on hand. Motion passed.
Motion by Pitchford and supported by Stephens to accept the Gradall Agreement. Motion
passed.
Motion by Harp and supported by Pitchford to accept the Brine Agreement. Motion passed.
Motion by Harp and supported by Stephens to accept the Gravel Agreement. Motion passed.
Motion by Lynn and supported by Pitchford to approve Stephens opting out of retirement
account. Motion passed.
Motion by Harp and supported by Pitchford to approve Township Board ending contributions to
the 457 Retirement Plan. Motion passed.
Motion by Stephens and supported by Pitchford to approve 3% COLA raises.
Motion by Lynn and supported by Pitchford to increase Insurance budget from $10,500 to
$11,000. Motion passed.
Motion by Lynn and supported by Harp to increase Assessor Other Costs budget from $2,000 to
$4,000. Motion passed.
Ionia Township Budget Meeting will be held on March 11, 2025 at 6:00pm.
Motion by Stephens and supported by Pitchford to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed.
